The College seeks to extend the sphere of its activities by encouraging sports teams to participate in the games and competitions organized by sports clubs and other agencies in the Sultanate of Oman. |
Activities:
Noon Barza :
Noon “BARZA” is one of the activities organized by the students’ committee in the college.
It is organized every Monday where students contribute through various range of cultural,
artistic and educational activities.
This activity started in the year 1997 and it was called “NADWA”, but the name was changed
in 1998 by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al-Ghazali to “Noon BARZA” inspired by the rich Omani heritage,
explaining in a word in one of the meetings in “Noon BARZA” that the word “BARZA” refers to the meetings
used top be held by the heads of tribes and the wise men of the tribe to exchange opinion, advice, settling issues
and discussing all sorts of social and general matters.


Football:
Students’ activities are considered one of the important activities that support and enhance the educational process
due to their strong relationship with physical, mental health and social built. The college organizes a football tournament
for the cup of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al-Ghazali – the chairman, as it represents an incredible opportunity
for the students to meet and to have the chance to know the graduates of the college who are usually invited to
attend similar activities. These activities are also a good mean for the college’s teams to get prepared for their external
participation, as it managed to achieve 12 wins in the year 2007, in addition to the championship of the beach football
championship for the year 2007.



Entertainment:
The college has enabled different useful means for the students to use during their free time in the college like table tennis,
pool and the alike based on the belief that students should have a healthy atmosphere, and constructive entertainment facilities.
